Interview with Swedish Sleaze Rockers CRASHDÏET!

Crashdïet spearheaded the renaissance of Swedish sleaze rock with their classic debut “Rest in sleaze” (2005). Sadly they were to lose one singer after another, who died tragically or simply didn’t work out. This, however, didn’t stop the band from achieving more success with albums like “Generation wild” (2010) and “The savage playground” (2013).

In 2017 singer Gabriel Keyes joined the ranks, and the single “We are legion” was released as a statement that Crashdïet would remain a fundament to the Swedish sleaze scene. Inspired by acts like SKID ROW, GUNS N’ ROSES, KISS, and W.A.S.P, the guys from Sweden won lots of hearts with their raw glam sound including a good portion of punk attitude.

Today we’ll help you track them down with our special Scandinavian reporter & photographer Jörgen ...

Standing in staunch opposition to any presumptuous notion of “reinventing the wheel” or “redefining the genre”, VISIGOTH instead dedicates themselves to worshipping at the ageless altars of heavy metal with a singular focus on writing music inspired by their favorite records.

Whether whipped into a frenzy ignited by classic USPM or NWOBHM anthems or pensively meditating on traditional epic heavy metal or weighty doom-inspired moments, these Salt City hessians wear their influences proudly on their sleeves.

With their new 2018 long-player ‘Conqueror’s Oath’, VISIGOTH...
