Electrocution – ‘Psychonolatry’!

Italian label GoreGoreCords is set to release Psychonolatry by legendary Italian death metal band ELECTROCUTION. The album, which is the band’s first in 5 years, will be released on CD, digital and vinyl on Feb 8th 2019. Originally formed in 1990, the cult band has toured all over Italy with the likes of Death, Carcass, Motorhead and many more.

The band commented:
“We are proud of this new musical chapter. We have left an important mark on the past and are committed to ensuring that this mark can remain indelible. Composing and recording these songs was challenging and, at the same time, natural and fun. We wanted to make an album that’s solid, violent, fun to play and listen to. We believe we made it!”

TOBY HITCHCOCK – ’Reckoning’!

Powerhouse US vocalist Toby Hitchcock came to the attention of Melodic Rock fans on the debut album by Pride of Lions.

Discovered by iconic songwriter Jim Peterik (‘Eye Of The Tiger’, etc) his voice has been compared to Bobby Kimball (Toto), Jimi Jamison (Survivor) and Lou Gramm (Foreigner), yet maintains a unique identity that has made him a star in the Melodic Rock scene.

With Pride of Lions currently on hiatus, Hitchcock has taken the opportunity to make a second solo album following the excellent reactions to his debut, ‘Mercury’s Down’.

Hooking up with Swedish producer Daniel Flores (Murder of My Sweet, Mind’s Eye, Find Me), the result is another marriage made in the AOR stratosphere that again shows off Hitchcock ’s vocal talent to maximum effect.

STARBREAKER – ’Dysphoria’!

Former TNT frontman Tony Harnell has teamed up with prolific guitarist Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear and Allen/Lande) for this much anticipated third Starbreaker album.

Initially begun as Harnell’s side project while he was still in TNT, Starbreaker morphed into a quartet that included Karlsson, former TNT drummer John Macaluso and bassist Fabrizio Grossi, recording and releasing a debut self-titled album in 2005. By 2007, Starbreaker had become Harnell’s main concern and a second record entitled ‘Love’s Dying Wish’ was released the following year.

Although Harnell eventually rejoined TNT, he left that group again in 2017 and began working with Karlsson once again to record ‘Dysphoria’...

KANE ROBERTS – ’The New Normal’!

Of all the iconic 1980’s rock ’n’ roll concert images, one of the most memorable is Alice Cooper’s Rambo-alike guitarist and his M-60 machine gun guitar. That musician is Kane Roberts, an accomplished writer and singer in his own right, but who first came to prominence co-writing and touring with Alice Cooper in the mid-’80s.

Becoming well-known in the music business for his bodybuilder image as much as his writing/guitar skills, he has nevertheless landed solo US Top 40 hits and, besides his tenure with Alice Cooper, his CV includes recording, writing and touring with artists such as Rod Stewart, Desmond Child, KISS, Diane Warren, Alice in Chains, Berlin, Guns N’ Roses and Garland Jeffries, while he has also written or recorded for several movies.

Roberts is now back with a new...
