GOATWHORE unveils ‘Chaos Arcane’ lyric video!

‘Vengeful Ascension’ is the imminent new full-length from New Orleans’ metal legion GOATWHORE. Set to drop on June 23rd via Metal Blade Records worldwide, the band’s seventh full-length and second recorded reel-to-reel was captured at Earth Analog in Tolono, Illinois with longtime soundman and comrade Jarrett Pritchard (1349, Gruesome).

In advance of its release, today the band shares the official lyric video for ‘Chaos Arcane’. Based on H.P. Lovecraft’s character who attempts to recount the inexplicable sense of fear in expectancy of an unknown evil, the track conveys that sensation of impending doom through sound in a way only GOATWHORE can.

Aussie Alt-Prog-Rockers FIGURES Dedicate New Video To Memory Of Fan and Announce Chronos EP!

Fresh off releasing their debut self-titled EP, Melbourne quintet FIGURES are back with new EP Chronos on 16 June. The massive, riff-heavy track, Recoil, comes along with a video and is dedicated to the memory and tragic loss of their friend and fan, Mick Mills, to Lymphoma.

Simon Edgell, Guitarist for the band, wants the world to know this one is for him. “‘Slick’ Mick Mills was a close personal friend of the band since meeting Simmo and Josh through work years ago. He was diagnosed with Lymphoma in September of 2016.”

HACKTIVIST Announce New Co-Vocalist JOT MAXI and Reveal ‘2 Rotten’!

As vital as they’ve ever been – if not more so in the world’s current climate – HACKTIVIST are back. They return with new vocalist and brother-in-arms Jot Maxi, following the amicable departure of Ben Marvin, and are set to take on the main stage at Download Festival.
