AC/DC RUMORED TO BE PLAYING 2015 GRAMMYS!

acdcThe Grammys may have taken a hit with rock fans after the 2014 ceremony, but if the rumors are true, the 2015 ceremony could be off to a rocking start.

According to Hits Daily Double, AC/DC are among the initial acts rumored to be taking part in the 57th annual Grammy Awards.

The rumors suggest AC/DC, Madonna and U2 among the initial acts being booked for the Feb. 8 ceremony, which would be a pretty impressive start with three of music’s most celebrated performers.

If AC/DC are part of the ceremony, it certainly would be big news as the band has announced their intent to hit the road in 2015 in support of the newly released ‘Rock or Bust‘ album. A few AC/DC dates have already surfaced for 2015, but they are scheduled much later than February.

Zakk Wylde on Potential Pantera ‘Reunion’: ‘I’m Just a Phone Call Away’!

Zakk-Wylde-630x420Whenever talk of a Pantera reunion has been discussed over the past few years, oftentimes Zakk Wylde is mentioned as the guitarist that would sit in for the late Dimebag Darrell. Though nothing has come of the reunion as of yet Wylde has just reiterated that he’s in if the guys ever wanted to pursue it.
Earlier this month Wylde says, “It’s definitely a good time, when I play with Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown. I mean, if somebody was to say ‘a reunion,’ I’d go, we’ll it’s a reunion of Phil, Rex and Vincenzo. But I’m just saying, for me, it’s just, it’s me going in and honoring and paying tribute to Dime’ at the same time.”

Ozzy Osbourne To Perform on Late-Night Edition of ‘The Talk’!

Sharon-and-Ozzy-OsbourneCraig Ferguson just wrapped up his tenure as host of CBS’ ‘Late Late Show,’ and until new host James Corden takes over in March, the 12:37AM ET time Slot will either be filled with guest hosts on ‘Late Late Show’ or an ‘After Dark’ edition of the daytime program ‘The Talk.’
The guest on the Monday, Jan. 12, after-dark edition of ‘The Talk’ will be co-host Sharon Osbourne‘s husband, Ozzy Osbourne. In addition to being interviewed, the Prince of Darkness will also perform on the show.

A few days before that, on Friday, Jan. 9, Drew Carey end his week guest hosting the ‘Late Late Show’ and Sharon Osbourne will be the lead guest.

ANTHRAX Recording Song For ‘Game Of Thrones’!

anthraxstudio2014game_638ANTHRAX is reportedly recording a song for an upcoming “Game Of Thrones” mixtape from HBO.

Released earlier this year via Launch Point Records, “Catch The Throne: The Mixtape” included new tracks from hip-hop artists Big Boi, Common, Wale, Kilo Kish and others, and borrowed themes and storylines from the first three seasons. Each cut on the record sampled music from the original “Game of Thrones” soundtrack.

CHILDREN OF BODOM’s eighth album “Halo Of Blood”!

Children-of-Bodom“Halo Of Blood”, the latest album from Finnish metallers CHILDREN OF BODOM, has been certified GOLD in Finland for sales in excess of 10,000 copies.

The band was awarded with GOLD plaques signifying the achievement during the Bodom Xmas Bash show on December 28 at Pakkahuone in Tampere, Finland.

CHILDREN OF BODOM’s eighth album, “Halo Of Blood”, sold 8,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD was made available in June 2013 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records.

The cover art was created by Sami Saramäki, who was responsible for the artwork on previous CHILDREN OF BODOM albums “Follow The Reaper”, “Are You Dead Yet?” and “Hate Crew Deathroll”.
